Charanga
At Wiggonby, we use Charanga to aid our learning of Music. In each class, the children concentrate on different musical elements, and build on their knowledge and skills throughout the school. The children have had lots of fun learning about different artists, including ABBA, and many different genres of music, including pop, rock and motown.
Keyboard Lessons
The children are offered keyboard lessons in Key Stage 2. They develop their skills of reading music, learning melodies and different chords too. At Christmas, the children who have been learning keyboard showed off their skills to the peers and parents. It was lovely to see the progress they have made!
Whole Class Tuition
This term, Class 3 are very fortunate to be learning to play the flute with Mr Tugwell. Class 2 will be choosing an instrument to learn to play during the Spring term too.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
