In Music, we use the programme Charanga. This helps us to appreciate different genres of music including Hip Hop, Jazz, Pop and many more. During music lessons, we listen and appraise, we identify different instruments within songs and identify the rhythm and pulse.
For our harvest festival celebration, we collaboratively re-wrote the song 'Livin' on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi. We changed the lyrics and helped each other to rehearse the song before performing this in the celebration. Below, you can follow the link to watch our performance of 'Sitting on a Sprayer'.
We are also very lucky that Mr Hendry will be coming in, every Tuesday, to teach us the ukulele. We started this during the spring term, although we are continuing this in the autumn term of the new school year. We look forward to sharing our new skill with you after more rehearsing!
